“Unfortunately, today many schools across the [African] continent remain in need, and millions of children and adults are still without access to books and the tools to reach their full potential.”
— Kofi Annan, former U.N. Secretary-General

Books for Our Children

Yaaba believes that education is the great equalizer in the world, and books are at the foundation of a strong educational system.

Most African children who attend school have never owned a book of their own. In many classrooms, 10-20 students share one textbook. Many of us in the United States take these education and books for granted, but children in Africa cherish books .. they are the gift of hope.

Yaaba strives to help create a culture of literacy and provide the tools of empowerment to the next generation of parents, teachers, and leaders in Africa.

Your DONATION will help fund a shipment of books to children in the Eastern region of Ghana.

School Projects

ORPHANAGE

Countryside Children Welfare Home.
Location: Bawjiase, Central Region, Ghana West Africa
Head Master: Retired Captain Joe Yebuah
